Hi im new on here.
Could someone advise me if i am living on the correct amount please.
I am self employed (3 months) - my total earnings in the first 2 months was approx £100 per week.
For the last 4 weeks i have had no income from self employment.
My working tax credit and child tax credit is £138.00 per week - this was based on the first two months of self employment (est year income £5200.00).
Last year my total earnings for year was £10500.00
I have a partner who is unemployed (not claiming any benefits presently - but claimed cont jsa for 6 months which ended in apr 09).
His last year 08 total earnings for year was £6000.00.
I have 1 child so child benefit of £20.00 per week.
Thats all i have coming in at the moment for a family of 3 - £158.00 per week.
I live in private rent - £450.00 per month
Band D council tax of - £165 per month
I get housing benefit of £200 per month
I get council tax benefit of £7.00 per month
I am struggling to survive can anyone have a look at these figures to see if these seem right.
Would there be any other benefits i could top up my income with until work picks up or i get a job?
thankyou in advance
