Does anyone have any suggestions.. I would prefer it to look like an MPV rather than a Minibus and preferably not a Toyota as I've heard the engines are "slightly" difficult to work on
I'm looking around the 8k mark and would like a Diesel engine and something not too expensive to tax and insure.

There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

At this point in time I cannot think of any other 8 seat MPV except the Toyota Previa and all it's import clones. Everything else will be a minibus or a 9 seat Land Rover Defender, unless you look for something American. The man without a signature.0

Fiat Ulysse, Citroen Synergie, Peugeot 807 all do a 8 seater model0

Buy two 5 seater cars for the £8000? I know someone who did that! Couldnt find anything decent and they wanted all 8 people to be comfy!0

we've just got a nissan serena and its great (and it only cost £200 )
Just a pain to check the oil when the engine is under the driver and passenger seats and you have to pull the centre console out
