How/where to sell an ipod?

Hi,

I hope this is in the right place?

I wondered if anyone had any advice about where would be the best place to sell my ipod?:confused:

Its a 6th generation classic black, 160gb in the box and with all the cables etc. It was over £200 and its barely used so would like a good price for it.

Im a bit worried about selling on ebay. A friend sold something similar and was unindated with silly offers and im worried they would claim the item didnt arrive etc.

Does anyone know of any other websites that would be good and safe to use?

    Selling it on ebay you will get a good price but you need to make sure that you set your seller preferences tight to avoid all the scammers. Also I wouldnt sell it abroad as you will get similar problems along with trying to get it there adequatly tracked and insured.

    To stop a claim the item didnt arrive just send it special delivery if you have online proof of delivery you will be covered in paypal. A post on seller protection HERE

    If you even consider selling online remember that you need to send the ipod special delivery to be able to prove delivery. For ebay try this thread:

    Or you could register on Amazon or sell there, or maybe Play might be another option.

    Alternatively try local advertising and get cash on collection as that will save you a huge amount of fees.

    I have bought and sold quite a lot on ebay, mainly beauty things but never anything expensive.

    I didnt know about the seller preferences, ive now set these so thanks very much!!
