After getting into difficulty with paying our bills after my partner was made redundant, I posted on here for some advice and somebody told me about the British Gas Energy trust. We ended up having to have pre-payment meters fitted as we had no way of paying our outstanding balance and they wouldn't let us wait until we'd applied to the trust. I wasn't going to bother applying once they'd been fitted but thought I may as well as I'd got everything in an envelope ready to be posted. I forgot all about it until last week when we received a letter saying they were going to pay our arrears for us, which will be a massive help to us. So a big thankyou to the people who gave me advice and suggested the BG Energy trust x
