  • I know I'm going to get flamed for this but here goes.

Why do people with children often seem to think that the rules/laws don't apply to them?

Often driving 4x4s they just pull out in front of other road users safe in the knowledge that they are safe in their tank, or they will stop wherever they like because everyone must 'think of the children' above all else.

    But anyways, flame away.

    No flaming - quite agree.
  • Why is feeding your kid so urgent as to justify illegal parking/waiting?
"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"
  • Did you not know all cars driven by parents are exempt from all traffic laws?

As a lorry driver (in Birmingham incidently) I find traffic flows so much better when the schools are on holiday.

One guy got me giggling when i was making a delivery a while back. Main road is a dual carriageway, The shop i was delivering to is in a small row of shops with an access road, It can be accessed from either end of the access road. I was unloading a large quantity of items approx 5 pallets worth.
A guy sat behind my vehicle as i was unloading, I thought it was a bit strange if he wanted to park the other side of me he could easily drive onto the main road & enter a few yards further up. I jumped down to tell him i would be quite a while, His reply was you will have to move soon the school run is about to start.

Gave be a dose of the giggles.
