    I applied for a Mint card just before Christmas and there's no mention of a fee on the agreement I signed, so I imagine this must be a new policy. I'll check this when I make the transfer.

    Hell.. just a matter of timing, I guess - this does seem to indicate that low credit limits are no longer worth BTing, as all you make on SBTing a limit of 3000 is a paltry 110-40 = £70, and the headache of having to make minimum payments >:(

    Should have entered the world of stoozing earlier :(

    There are plenty of cards around in the 6 month non SBT category - Morgan Stanley, Citibank, as a couple of examples, so I wouldn't be too worried about Mint dropping off the map.

    The list of fee-free SBT cards is now very short. I really hope Egg don't start charging.

    On the positive side remember there was a thread a while ago suggesting Goldfish could be used for free SBTs too.
  • See the focus is on your reduced profits still.

    Now I might have misunderstood your comment but as it was posted minutes after your Tsunami relief post I assume you are saying we are doing something wrong in trying to maximise our stoozing while there is a crisis going on. If so you are seriously starting to irritate me with your comments. I have given a substantial amount to to help with the relief. Do you think I should donate money to the credit card companies too to mark the occasion?

    Less of the snide remarks please. If you want to give up stoozing that's your business.

    Must be over worked at the sainsburies in lemington, hence need to blow off steam ;)

    Heres to maximising stoozed earnings during 2005 !

    Cheers ! ;D
  • They seem to have repositioned their offer in several ways;

    0% to a specific date (1 Sept) rather than 8 months from date the account is opened.

    They've added 1% to all their APRs

    Can't see any reference on the website to Transfer & Save facility or cheques

    I too seem to have got in just in time - agreement makes no reference to charges & I 100% stoozed over the phone with a 'Transfer & Save' 2 days ago :D
