£555 is a reasonable price - Renault are like Peugeot - notorious for using 100 different bolt types and packing all the bits in really tight.Happy chappy0

I have an oil leak on my Renault Clio 1.2 Oasis which means that the air coming into the car is quite stinky of burning oil!
To clean off the oil someone told me about using paraffin and a rag or kitchen towels. I 'painted' the area that the oil had leaked on (avoiding anything electrical) and then wiped it off. It was only a small amount so didn't use more than 50ml of paraffin and probably 6 pieces of kitchen towel. I then discovered where the oil leak is coming from so hopefully will have saving the mechanic time searching and my money! (I spent 30mins in all.)
The car's due at the garage tommorrow so we'll see how well I've done...0
