I'm going to claim hardship: what evidence should I send?

I am about to submit my claim to be repaid £1170 since July 2001.

I tried to claim hardship a year ago, but they sent me back something where I had to tell them my budget, and it was more paper filling, so I decided to leave it for the time being as I was soon to be starting work.

I felt it was insulting, given that I was on JSA and was up to my overdraft limit. They were just trying to delay me and put me off.

So that I don't come up against any delays this time, what proof of hardship are they likely to ask me?

I am a full-time student living off a £7k annual budget, with London rent prices, who is up to his limit on a £1,500 overdraft limit.
