Hi
I have bought some new kitchen cupboard doors and got a quote from a carpenter...he wants £50 per door! To me this is an outrageous amount as I have 8 replacement doors to fit...anyone know if that is the normal price?
If £50 per door is normal...I am gonna have to hyperventilate and do it myself..so will end up with a crooked kitchen :rotfl:
Cheers

£50 per doors sounds a little expensive, considering I charge £40 for fitting an entire unit...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

If it only means fitting new hinges in pre drilled holes and fitting new handles/knob it should not take more than a couple of hours to do the job.
If the doors come without being pre drilled to take the hinges it could take a bit longer (4 hours max).0 -
My brother has new sink, new worktop, 1 New wall cabinet and 9 doors fitted for £180We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -
Judy, that's shocking? He's just fitting them right?
I generally work on £120 per day for labour and 8 doors to me would take me around half a day(if that). I wouldn't pay any more than £80-£1000
