Buyer problem

I sold a pc game nearly a month ago and got positive feedback from the buyer. I have got a message from them today which simply says:

'The multiplayer mode does not work mate and thats what i wanted for.'

I have sent one back asking exactly what the problem is. What do you all recommend I do?

Wait for them to get back to you and let you know the problem. Be as nice as possible (through gritted teeth if necessary!) Is the game copyable?

Sold it a month ago & they have left positive feedback, surley they would have tested it before leaving feedback?

Thanks for your replies. It is a few years old and it could be copied. Also, if they had played it regularly over the last month they could probably have completed it by now! There could also be technical issues to do with their PC that are nothing to do with the game (I never played the multiplayer when I bought it).
