Just to say 'thank you ' to Leadhead for the tip about the Asda midget gems. I bought some at the weekend..... worth it just to feed the black ones to the kids and wait for their horrified reaction when they discovered their true taste!!!!!! Priceless.... I hadn't laughed so much for ages!

I think they taste like a sour liquorice flavour. My kids thought they'd be like black wine gums and cringed when they tried them.

In my Asda today they were selling both the 850g and the next size down (400+?) for £3 each. The smaller boxes were in the foyer with the beers. The big boxes were on top of a fixture as I walked round (fortunately I'm tall enough to reach!). I pointed out the 'error' to the greeter as I was leaving, but she didn't seem very interested. What a rip off! Beware!0 -
