Help! my housing benefit hasn't gone in!!

Hiya,

I have just checked my online banking and my housing benefit payment hasn't gone in :mad:
It goes in every 2weeks, went it on the 3rd and the 17th but no payment today.
My rent goes out tomorrow and the housing benefit office is closed for the bank holiday.
What can I do?

It'll go in tommorow.This happened to me and it went in on the tuesday !

Might be worth ringing your bank - they can often see a payment that's about to go in. They can also check if it's going to take you overdrawn if it doesn't go in and you could ask them waht you can do if that's going to happen - may be able to avoid any bank charge hassle?

It won't go in on a bank holiday - it'll go in tomorrow. Your rent won't be paid today either, for the same reason - that will be tomorrow too.

i had late payment too, as bank holiday and one payment a week early weird stuff
