Ebay/Paypal payment question
[Deleted User]
For the second time in a row I am suddenly not given the option in Paypal to use my credit card when paying for an eBay item.
Until now I have never had a problem with this. Paypal tried to blame the seller last time and as it was such a small amount I did not ask the seller.
However, today I have tried to pay for another item with a different seller and once again Paypal will not let me choose the option of using my credit card. I have checked and rechecked under my Profile that the card is still correctly listed - which it is.
It will not let me relist it.
Paypal were totally unhelpful the first time round when I queried this.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening? I have made numerous successful card payments via Paypal this year.
Is it because my Paypal account is showing in credit? I cannot see an option to use this money either.
(Obviously it is staring me in the face but I cannot see it!!)

YOu have it in one, a paypal balance is always used first before any other option is given. To use a credit card you must first clear your paypal balance so you are showing nothing available.

You will find it will automatically take the paypal balance with only the remaining bit, not covered by the balance, will be taken from the bank account.
