I think I have had a virus on my PC. Trogan horse downloader Alchemic.a and Agent 1d which AVG found
Norton says no infection but since then I have had the following problems.
I have to press F10 to get the computer to load up from the start.
Keyboard does not print on the screen. I have changed keyboards and it is still the same.
Do not receive e-mails in outlook.
When I have a couple of windows open at the bottom and click on one to close it says close group instead of saying (close )and they all close down.
I am not very computer literate so simple answers please.
Any help would be terrific

Download, install and then update Ewido. Run the software and get rid of all it finds.
You appear to be running two anti virus software - this will cause problems - infighting.
I would suggest that you visit an online anti virus scanner like Panda - ask it to clear all t finds.
You could also download - Spybot, Adaware or Microsoft Defender
Remember to update any software prior to running it.0 -
update all your antivirus, then switch off system restore, reboot the pc in safe mode which you do by pressing F8 as the pc switches on. Then do a scan with your antivirus, both if you like. I also run with AVG and Norton and there is no problems running them together.
After scan reboot normally and see if any better.0 -

Start / Control Panel / System / System Restore Tab

Tried to start it up in safe mode and it justs starts up as normal.
Would this be because the keyboard keys do not type on the screen eg Google or e-mail.
Many thanks for all the replies so farVal
