Haven't done much flying this weekend, but have a short list of things to get done tonight, when my brother-in-law goes home.

It includes the ironing, so that DD's uniform is ready for school - the last time I ironed at the weekend was in 2003 (I stopped working in the October), so it's going to be a bit of a shock to the system!

I have also got a bit more of my time management book to get through (laughs hollowly)...I actually gave up doing the timelog as it was just taking too much time. Sounds like a poor excuse, but once I realised I was multitasking at every opportunity I just stopped logging it. I did keep a tally of how often I was visiting the PC, though, and that was very telling. I think I have found where my time goes :o.

Right, I'm off to do a couple of jobs, then a soak in the bath - I went horseriding today for the first time in 10 years. To say I'm sore is an understatement....and I'm walking a bit like John Wayne!

Take care and have a good evening.
    See you tomorrow

You know you shouldn't be swinging from the lights at your age!:p

Not a lot done today - been to Home Bargains and B&M and got a few more stocking fillers - other than that I've done nothing. Back to work tomorrow and I haven't even looked at my work stuff or sorted my work bag out or anything.

But I have managed to list something on fleabay all by myself - before I've always got my mate to do it for me which is why I never used it much.

  • Hi all!
Well todays gardening all went abit wrong..I was going to pull out loads of cosmos & sunflower plants that are pretty much over, then leave the sunflower seeds for the birds, but the stems of the plants are swarmed with wasps :eek::eek:.. I think the whole county must've heard me screaming!! so I beat a hasty retreat indoors & baked cakes and a roast dinner instead!!:D

Had a lovely day with our visitors who have gone now, boys are bathed and in bed, DH is dropping SSs back at their mums. Just me on my lonesome with all the decent china to handwash. Vintage china seemed a great idea at the time, but it is not dishwasher safe, and I can't find the washing up bowl.

Quillion - loved the photos and well done on the transformation, great idea to do a record like that.

Smurfs - I think it was agreed that we should change away from Smurfs today. Are we going for a theme or back to our old ones? I miss Dusty's most.
