Thanks Wilf, DD is either on the pavement out the front or in the lane out the back, eventually got her in at 7:20 when others were going in xx0

Wow well done Quillion :T:T.
Today I have:
1. gone into town and got FIL's birthday present and wrapping (will make card), pork to roast, some other shopping.
2. made roast pork dinner followed by HM steamed jam pudding (mmmm)- enough left for dinner again tomorrow so maybe pork stronganoff ?
3. washed all the dishes and did quite a lot of other bits and bobs.
WM is now on and will knit while waiting for that to finish, then will hang up that load of washing.
Hope all are ok.

Spot on dusty! Yesterday went as well as may be expected - it wasn't ever going to be easy. Dad told my sister that he was really worried he was going to completely lose it - as if it mattered - but we all just about behaved with a reasonable amount of decorum - Mum always threatened she'd come back and haunt us if we made a hysterical display of ourselves!Afterwards we went to a nearby country house (where my brother's wedding was - his and SIL's suggestion) where we had booked a private room, and had a meal, and spent the rest of the afternoon there, chatting, and wandering around the very nice gardens and grounds. I didn't feel particualrly well today, but kept an appointment to have my hair coloured, and felt a lot better afterwards. Wandered around town with DD this afternoon.
No flying today I'm afraid, but I only really have the bathroom to catch up on, and all my school prep.
Thank you again to all of you for your support - it has helped so much.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Evening! Had fun at the launch party although it was very small and quiet compared to the huge ones I keep seeing on the news!

I've just stripped my bed, put the duvet in the WM, and I'm going to wash all the feather pillows too (can't wash the spelt one, obviously, but I will do the outer cover. The inner one was done recently. The mattress topper will have to wait until tomorrow as it can't go in the TD. Mind you, I'm not sure I'll get the duvet dry before I leave tonight
Bed has been vacuumed and I've had some soup, so I'm going to wash the floor and have a shower while I cook some pasta (need to eat before walking) and then remake as much of the bed as I can.
I'm just wondering whether I should wash EVERYTHING in the house - mind you, seeing as whatever is causing the problem is invisible, it probably won't help! My nose has also been a bit bunged up when in the house (particularly just after the attic was done), so I suspect it's probably an allergy of some kind. Hopefully it'll go away once I'm in Devon and the house will have settled down by the time I get back. Still, a major blitz is clearly called for tomorrow... maybe I could leave some of the curtains at the laundry while I'm away
Any ideas for stopping this itching would be appreciated!0 -

Greenbee, make sure you are well moisturised - I'm always itchy when I've got dry skin, so that might help. Even if it is an allergy it sometimes helps to moisturise anyway.
I'm feeling th need to moisturise right now, my skin feels so dry and tight, I think I will be slathering myself before bed!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
