Well I took the clothes upstairs off the top of the freezer, looked through my freezer to see what was in it and realised there isn't much at all - I've got 3 pizzas in there which were balanced ontop of a couple of boxes of burgers and nothing else! Sort of sorted out what I'm doing for tea, wiped the freezer out as something had obviously leaked in and I think that was about it.

Going to do some baking now and do some prearation for tea now I think.

I am off to do some baking what you making?

OK...trying out different sizes. This is the cake that Mum and I made for my brother's wedding :)

What a fab cake now this one should have been a big one so we could see the details xx

HHC anyone at 2pm? - I think I will tackle the bedroom list

    HHC at 3pm - bathroom

    HHC at 4pm - kitchen

Then quick whizz round with hoover in the lounge and light yankee candle

Leaving Sunday for ironing and ROD (only doom-like 'cos I have all the Christmas presents laying all over the place!)

For the tattoo I'm considering "Quod non me delet fortiorem facit" on my wrist, which is Latin for "What does not kill me makes me stronger", apparently.

I just need to find a Latin script on line as I don't want it in the flowing style of writing a lot of tattoos are done in, as that's not how Latin was written.

Bit of research still to do methinks.

Also want some cat paw prints across one foot..hmmm.

That sounds good - great motto to live by!
I'm after a three sunflowers on my shoulder, they'll cover up an older one of a rose. Still mulling it over!

Been busy today - lots of gardening done & loads of washing on the whirly-gig, it's the first decent drying day we've had all week! Bread made too.

Need to gloss the stairs this afternoon & hopefully make some banana muffins to use up some brown nanas.

    Hope everyone is doing okay!

I'm really going to have to completely reorganise my bedroom I think - which is where my PC is. Now DD is home, the current orientation of the PC means she can sneak up on me and see what I'm doing before I realise! This is not good. A mother needs to have some secrets....

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: And so do daughters ;):p

    zoe - hugs

greenbee - have a good day and night!!

Afternoon everyone. Did the dailies then went shopping. Been to spend the gift voucher I got from work at Samuels. I have bought the two necklaces I looked at last week. One has a butterfly on and the other a angel. Will take them into work next week so they can see what I got. That will be strange. Did some food shopping then treat myself to some new cushion covers.

Was awake during the night so just got up and made a cuppa and read my book. Eventually managed to get back over. I keep away from the pavement I broke my ankle on and that was a few years ago.

    Recycling out
    Washing done
    LR tidied.

Crafty Im just getting into retirement mode. Know what you mean about not having to go out. Although Ive said I would do some walking each day.Its lovely being able not to have to get up at 6am. Just looked at the flooding in Scotland. DB is in Aberdeen but quite high up just out of the city.
greenbee Enjoy the exhibition and good luck for your walk tonight.

Wow! How do you manage without a worktop? I dont think I've got any space but it must hurt your back if you are leaning over the table to do your food prep?

I think its a lovely space. And is that a dishwasher at the back? Oh, I'm so jealous!!
