Rosepink the reason I got the (arm)chair stuck in doorway was that I had lots of boxes in bedroom and landing, and could not open door enough.
It took ages to shift the boxes and semi-slither chair down bannister. The tricky bit was the turn in the stairs where I had to lift chair over the newel post and it nearly fell down the stairs but I managed to grab a leg. My grandson (7) was watching downstairs, and said I was the strongest person he had ever seen lol! I felt very pleased, but have not done anything else. Today is another day and I will start afresh.
Serena, hope your mum’s funeral goes well, will be thinking of you all. Hugs
Big hugs Feefee, I’ve been thinking of you – are you getting any sort of respite care set up? Are you getting the help you need?
Hugs Embb, hope you feel less stressed soon
Welcome Wiseowl, you are in the right place! I’ve got the same problem as you, I hate doing housework, so being on here is a good motivator
Natty, hope your joints are better soon, and that you have a nice day at your friends, she sounds amazing, I really admire foster mum’s.
Nicnacnoo, if you’ve done the work already, you can still claim stars, even if you’ve done it ahead of time – say if you did the bathroom on Monday you can claim it even tho the list didn’t come up until today – provided you have finished the whole list
Ooops, was going to post about flying, but support worker has just arrived
I will fly after she's gone, must fly, byeeee"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

St Michael's hospice walk in Basingstoke. There's another one in Southampton next weekend too, but I can't do that as I already have plans.
((((hugs))) for serena
Had a lie in, read my book and have had breakfast. Need to get myself up and dressed, as the weather isn't too bad, and go shopping and get a few bits done before I have to leave for my blood donation appointment. I'm off to a wedding reception tonight, and in London to see my mum's pictures before the exhibition closes, so need to clear up the house before going off to Devon for a week!
Hopefully I will be back later to report progress!0 -
Morning all....
Sorry, no, not joining the challenge this time as I'm sitting in the peace and quiet of my house enjoying a cup of tea and far too many chocolate biscuits! There's no little voice saying 'can I dip one in your tea, mummy', as she's at school. Not sure what I feel about that really - 5 years ago I was eagerly anticipating her arrival...and here she is just starting her journey. She looks so grown up in her uniform.
DS has gone to sleep - he cut another tooth yesterday, so now he's got two gnashers. See, even my baby is growing up.
Anyway, enough of that...here's my list for today:

I'm exhausted now.
I want to loose the few pounds i've gained over the summer and get fitter so I'm speed flying! Everytime I find something that belongs to another room I run it straight there rather than making piles on the stairs etc.
Kitchen all done now, chicken out of the freezer for dinner.
Next stop family room, hall and cloakroom - doing a HHC in each room downstairs whilst waiting in for the new water butts to be delivered. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
