Morning all, can't believe I have been up since 6am. My DDog Jet decided I wasn't going to lay in..errr where does he get these ideas from. So he was bouncing around on me until I got up, so I gave in. And now the little wotsit is asleep on my bed snoring away..

I would like to say I had spent the time productively but I haven't. I have been online trying to convert an american receipe into UK measurements. It got complicated when I hit applesauce as I couldn't decide whether it was liquid or not..so had to convert it to tablespoons instead..ugh!! Still all done so now I can bake some gorgeous sounding Maple Syrup and Apple Muffins for DH to munch on over the weekend.

I've had to take some painkillers as my whole body is complaining for some unknown reason, all my joints are killing me. Maybe it's cos I keep doing housework..lol. So am aiming for a nice quiet day around my friends house :rotfl: It will also be a bit sad as she is saying goodbye to two of her wee foster munchkins as they are going to a long term carer. It will be very quiet without them, and they are so adorable - well the 3 year old is, the 5 year old is so noisy it's unbelievable and he always wants to know what you are doing and why..lol Now she is on alert for the baby brother,of the t'other munchkin that she has, to arrive any day. I think she is a mini Pigpen in the making, she has 8 children (inc the foster children) and she still manages to be a human dynamo etc, and has finished her psychology course at college and is considering Uni.

Serena, hopefully you will read this before you set off, my thoughts are with you honey. Sending virtual hugs your way and will be thinking of you at 10.30 this morning.

    Morning all

Serena - giving you renewed strength vibes for today
Lil-me - hope you manage to get a bit of a rest - moving is so difficult isn't it?
    Welcome wiseowl1
Natty - re the spare room. Do you have a cupboard under the stairs? You could do the porch and perhaps that or is there a shed in the garden or something?

We're supposed to have sunshine today but it's not looking promising which is a shame. There are still a load of towels on the line from yesterday which had an extra rinse in a sudden shower...
