Princess Jane - great news about your smear

Blimus - my mum called me to tell me that there was horizontal rain going past her window this morning, and that she and the dog were nearly blown away when they went out for a walk. Stay inside and keep hoping that it will pass over by the weekend!

Pest control guy has finished. Dead starling and lots of nest material removed from wall. Attic hoovered and disinfected. Air brick covered with wire mesh. Hole in roof also sealed with mesh. Hopefully I won't have a problem again...

I think I might be allergic to either the dust created by the cleaning, or the disinfectant, as I'm now bunged up and sneezing a lot  .

Suppose I should go out and get some fresh air... it should only take about 2 seconds with the wind blowing the way it is!

Also did lots of filing, so the desk is looking almost clear.

Over the last few days we have

    cleaned the kitchen

    binned loads of junk

got rid of lots of cardboard, old shoes,

had DD2's new bed delivered and she has throughly gone through her bedroom and decluttered loads.

DD1 has done the same to prepare herself for college and homework

I've baked and even made my own pastry.

Unfortunately the weather is pants as we were hoping to do some family outings together butt I'm not up to it really anyway so no big loss there.

Health wise, I've had my consult with my specialist, which went really well, so refreshing to talk to someone who actually knows their stuff re M.E. C/F/S, Post Viral Fatigue, etc.

I'm awaiting my prescriptions and then let battle commence. Still taking the AllicinMax which is brilliant and still keeping me functioning, although nowhere near 'normal' but immeasureably better than I was.:T

Resting day again, hopefully the weather will clear up a bit and we can do something before everyone heads back to work, school and college.

Did I mention that I can't wait for a bit of peace and the house to myself

  • Ok, I've tidied the table, the LR floor is tidy, the LR is dusted, have tidied the sofa a bit but it still needs more work, and I've got the hoover out.

Having a rest now, really tired! This flying milarky is exhausting!

Appointment request made to donate blood tomorrow.

Sent out email to see whether anyone is available to go for a walk today/tomorrow in preparation for Saturday's midnight walk (I sent out sponsorship requests yesterday but haven't had much of a response yet!)

Now need to wash/change and walk up to the school for a staff/governors lunch (we've got 2 inset days this week so kids aren't back until Monday).

  • Hi all just stopping for a quick cuppa.

I have been busy, busy, busy. I went upstairs to put my bedding in the dryer and put the boys stuff in the washer. Decided not to go back downstairs until the boys room was done. So I have rescued
Various, plates and cups and rehomed them in the kitchen
1x squidward and put him back in the fish tank:rolleyes:
A shoebox that was going to be binned and is now full of DS2's action figures.
    A tea towel.
Ix drill and 2x screwdrivers (which has me wondering what they were doing with them)

I have put all their clean clothes in a basket and will [STRIKE]ask [/STRIKE]shout at them to put them past.

3xWM, 2xTD, dinner in the slow cooker and my list is a wee bit smaller. I'm finnishing this cuppa and nicotine fix then I'm off to tidy the livingroom and do my room.
