My mouse is slow on the uptake think I may need a new one, had it a couple of years and I'm cleaning it to make it work more efficiently but it's not 100%Can anyone recommend one?

Have you changed the response speed within the control panel?
If it is still a problem then Microsoft or Logitech mice seem to be good bets. I use a mini 'Targa' mouse for my laptop that is also excellent.

If you are going to a get a new mouse, consider an optical one. No more cleaning fluff off the ball and works on almost any surface without a mouse mat.0

Depends on how much you want to spend, http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/107955/rb/18700692813
Sure you could pick one up locally, so you dont have to pay carriage. If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.0 -
Depends what you want and how much you want to spend, really. I would second any comments about getting an optical one. Do you want a cordless one too? In which case, I would recommend one which comes with a charging cradle, or it will chew through batteries. However, the lack of cord is good. I don't mind a corded keyboard, but the cord on the mouse irritates. Either Logitech or Microsoft products should stand you in good stead. Make sure you try out what you get before buying it, as not all mice fit comfortably into people's hands.

I bought one of THESE for the boys gaming machine. It's a bit dear (£40/£45), but I've used it a few times myself, and am surprised at the difference a really decent mouse makes. The response and smoothness of this mouse is noticable over 'normal' models. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Are the 3 rollers inside, and the pads on the bottom spotless? If you are using a plastic mat as opposed to cloth, they can attract skin and get sticky as well.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

if you just want a cheap and cheerful basic mouse, tesco do a value one (silver) for about £2.50, or in argos we do a cheapy one for about a fiver

If you're looking up market the Logitech MX1000 is very good, am using one now. It normally retails at around £37.
If not, something like the Logitech MX500 is very solid. We use them at work, very reliable/robust."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Mainly 2 options:
- Optical wired
- Optical wireless (needs a seperate charger, do not use the ones with batteries , waste of money in my opinion, unless you really need it)
I personally think that for the amount optical ones come for nowadays, you shouldn't even consider a standard ball mouse.
ebay would be your best bet for those, I mean I have a few lying around but couldn't beat the ebay prices!!Interested in property investment, web tech, social media, forex, equities. Also a proud father & entrepreneur of sorts.0
