Hi,
I've just attempted to install Vista Service Pack 1 on a pc as a big backlog of updates had ( i thought) been slowing down startup and shutdown. It updated and restarted, and went to what looks like a black screen and was scrolling through 90,000 files. However it's got stuck at file 4520 and is just flashing:
!! 0xc0190036 !! 4520/96440 (wininetPlugin.dll)
I don't know what this means and don't have a clue what to do about it now, also
I'm wary of switching the computer off when it's trying to do something , but it's been stuck like this for 30 mins. Can anyone point me in the right direction/help me solve this please?? (and in fairly simple terms as I'm nowhere near an expert)
Thanks,
Andrew
