I had a lot of renovation done on my house last year and the one thing I had to leave was my sink area around the back. I have a freestanding ike varde sink and I need my plumbing tidying up. First the waste pipe from the sink is too high and a new lower hole needs putting through the wall to outside. The water pipes that lead to the central heating and the taps are not bracketed to the wall and may need streamlining, also some are very old. I have a small leak from a water pipe, slight drips and it needs all boxing in so I can put a new windowsill in to neaten off. It was badly done some 20 years ago by the previous owners and it needs smartening up and then eventually I will have it tiled around in places. Need some help and as I am a lady bringing one wage in I need to save a bit of money. Can anyone help? After all this is done I can then put an extra bit of worktop in to the right of the boiler to finish kitchen off.

i hope that is not the gas pipe behind the boiler. it looks like the mains water stop valve, the hot and cold have been kinked bringing the sink forward. some cleaning of pipes needed, corrosion visible.

certainly needs a handyman or a plumber to tidy all the pipes up. all pipes should be clipped securely to the wall.
then a bit of DIY or a chippy to box em in.

ive not seen such a mess in a very long time. a real bodge job init?

yes its bad, the pipes from the boiler are ok, they have been checked, the pipes gas and water just need clipping back further. I removed a fitted 20 yr old kitchen and now I have a freestanding one which is better. It mean I can get behind to clean. Does anyone know of a good plumber/fitter or should I just ring around and get quotes maybe four. I guess £200 for the lot.
