presumably doesn't matter what brand it is as long as it does the same job.


£25 in dixons is best i've seen so far

broken as in damaged, or as in not working?

curry's sell the usb version for £20 I think..

Any brand will do the job, make sure it's 802.11g and I bet you can get one much cheaper than Dixons, even the supermarkets are selling them for under £20 if I remember correctly.

albertross ... broken as in there is a "black holder bit ??!!" .. that sticks out of the side of the laptop when the card bit is inside the laptop .... the holder bit simply got bent upwards and the green card thing inside snapped.

useless design if you ask me .. so easily happen.

It will do the job, can't say I have heard of the brand but I am not saying it's no good however watch out for high postage charges and overseas sellers and scams, you might be better off with a Linksys from Tesco at £17.97 (I think)

model number reads the same and any other detail /numbers i can see ?

Be delighted if this is it. It's for my daughters computer..she's at uni ... i picked one up in dixons this morning at £25 ... thought ..."i'll have effort and cost of posting it to her ... and i'm sure i'll find it on the net cheaper !"... like everything else in life ...so it seems these days .
