Existing Virgin customer, getting £150 quidco cashback at end of contract

Hi
I'm currently out of contract with Virgin and can see the £150 cashback available on quidco at the moment.
The retention offer for me is not great so I am tempted to re-sign up. Do I need to fully disconnect and reconnect to get this? Anyone done it and able to share their experience?
