Boiler not on outside wall - how far for air vent?

HI
I have a floor standing boiler with a vent that goes into the loft and then the roof. The boiler though itself it not on the outside wall but in a cudboard with vents. At the moment we have a vent in the back door but having an extension and the back door is going. So needing to put a new air vent in for any excess gas as I gather this is the law.
So question, how far away can the air vent be from the actual boiler?
I plan on putting a hole through the wall for the vent just need to know how much distance I can play with from the actual boiler and height wise I can place it.
I found this vent on ebay that may fit the bill:

Thanks
Scott

The calcs for ventilation size and position depend on where in the property the boiler is, whether it is located in a compartment, the heat input and the manufacturers instructions.
You should get an RGI in to at least tell you what you need and then to return and check / test all is correct after installation.
If your boiler is open-flued, you really, really don't want to to get this wrong.0
