wow thanks folks that lot will keep me busy for a long while,i have been doing card making for about 3 months now and appart from offroading this is the only hobby i have found that has kept me interested,because each card is different and it gets the imagination going too.
Beware if you are thinking of starting up thought it is very addictive and any money your saving from tips on this website will get spent very quickly on craft supplies.Finally got rent arrears paid off and now have an extra £300 per month,life looks a little bit sweeter.:T0 -

Me too! Mind you - I got 10 a5 blanks from ebay with envelopes and cello bags the other week for 99p - I bought 8 sets and the seller let me have minimum postage

i have been doing cross stitch now for about 4 years and it is quite expensive if you're like me lol and go to the shop and see some pretty threads or beads and buy them lol. i have a bad habit of that.littlejaffa wrote:it's great fun but i'd say choose your thing and stick to it - ish. otherwise you end up with stuff all over your house and glue where it just shouldn't be! it you think everything from knitting to card making to pottery is considered craft it can get out of hand!Need to get rid of my Yankee Candle Habit, Not very money saving of me
