Hi,
I am writing regarding your decision (in 2005!) to prevent topics about 'MLM / Pyramid "Lottery, Ipod & Treasure Trooper" etc NOT PERMITTED' There is a thread with this title, but I am not allowed to post links!
I believe that there should be JUST ONE THREAD where people can discuss tips and referral links etc. Anything else should be deleted. Since 2005, when you decided on this rule, websites like this have grown and grown. There is a forum (eXceem) where they have, collectively, raised over £200,000 worth of products, now that is what I would call Money Saving.
Martin himself argued that 'the legality of these schemes is questionable' - Well, not anymore! Everything is law abiding, the owners of the sites pay for the products (mostly bought from Amazon) through advertising money.
Also, I he argued that the 'ethnics' aren't questionable because it involves queuing up and waiting for your product, well, I for one am willing to wait for a bit while I gather 11 people before I am sent a nice new Playstation! Obviously I am not the only one if there are users of just one forum alone who have raised £200,000. I alone have raised £1,200 in the form of 2 Xbox 360s, 1 iPhone 3G, 1 iPod Classic and Amazon Vouchers... Soon to be £1,450 when my PS3 Slim arrives next week!
Perhaps I have missed something, any ideas?
Many thanks!
Max
