I have just booked a suprise 40th Birthday holiday for my other half..... returning to where we went on Honeymoon donkeys years ago........ Booked it on line but the suprise might be blown if I cant figure out how to delete the hotels web site from my P.C.!!! Help!!!
I have deleted the history but the web site appears in the address drop down menu via the arrow at the end of the line. She uses this all the time to visit her online shopping sites and will recognise the hotel name immediatly!.
I cant seem to delete it? Can anyone give me some pointers to save the suprise

Have you deleted the history and closed down IE and then re-opened it. Is it still there?

In firefox you need to clear the browsing history

Tools - Options - Privacy - History - Clear Browsing History

In internet explorer you need to go to

Tools - Internet options - General - Clear History

Aha....... the restart seems to have done the trick... Cheers all. Now kust have to keep the kids quiet!!!!!!!
