    Thats ok I can help..

"I borrowed a load of money which I had a great time spending and now I'm looking for a loophole to avoid paying it back as per the terms I agreed to before I spent it."
OP, now the problem has been clearly defined, do post back to advise whether Browntoa's solution worked. I do like a good loophole.
  • myself and my son are going without.

You aren't really "Going Without", you must have a houseful of catalogue stuff you were more than happy to order without considering the repayments.

Seriously, I think you should look at this from a more responsible perspective...

You have outstanding credit with a high apr, you are looking for a lower apr.

Have you tried getting a loan??

Even in these times you should be able to do MUCH better than 49% apr, although it would still mean you will have to pay back the money, but to someone else (or does that not sound like a good idea??)

hi ive tried for a loan but have been refused, as i said its only the interest rate i am trying to lower i have already stated im am paying for the stuff, also we are going without as for a house for of catalouge stuff, i really wish i did have, im left with the debt due to a relationship break up - the bill is for a washing machine, fridge, my bed & matress and my sons bed & matress and a dinning table. I admit the dining table is a luxury and wasnt needed but when i was with my oh we could afford it. Had id of known my oh was going to up and go and leave my with debts struggling to bring up a toddler i would not have brought the stuff.

obviously if i could afford to pay more then i would but im to pay just the interest atm myself and my son are going without.

Why are you asking about underwear from Figleaves then? Even clearance is more expensive than supermarket undies.

hi with the free delievry and 20% of i managed to get 5 pairs of undies for £7.20 delievered which would be alot cheaper than taking the bus to my nearest supermarket that sells clothes, by the time ive paid £5.60 bus fare i would have to be able to get 4 pairs for under £1.60 for it to work out cheaper. unfortnatly for me undies is an essential.

also i had £11.00 in my paypal account from when i sold something on ebay a few weeks ago which i couldnt withdraw to my bank anyway.

just checked my receipt and it was actually £6.40 i paid for 5 pairs so an even better bargain than i thought

(they were reduced to £8 with 20% of code made them £6.40 then had free delivery)
