I want to sell my Technics hi-fi (http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5125849.htm) on ebay, and i want to post the item to the buyer. I have the orginal box for the hi-fi.
Can someone please recommend which delivery company is the best and cheapest? The hi-fi is heavy
I saw on quidco Parcel2Go.com, are they any good???

Hi
I just sent a 16kg tv combi back to Amazon with Parcel Force for £23.25. Their service was excellent. This may help you to compare other carriers.

If you have a staples near you, I posted a 21kg item on next day delivery for only £8. Take it to the store before 12pm and they send it through DHL.
Never had any problems with them.0 -
try https://www.parcel2go.com (through quidco) - they use one standard price and book you in with a courier of their choice.0

Another recommendation for Staples. Saves you having to wait around for pickup and you might even be able to pick up one of the regular Staples bargains.0

Depends what you want......with items like this I like to get next day delivery so they dont 'hang' around parcel system too long and get more potential for damaging. I use parcels2go.com, parcels4delivery and interparcel, although none of them recommend parcelforce anymore (who were brilliant) based on the price increases that have been made at easter.
You can get 5% at interparcel if you register knocked off and 10% at parcel2go if you paste their banner into any ebay auction and let them know the details. best to enter all their quote systems and shop around!0 -

This is a excellent tip especially as pick ups have got alot more expensive since Easter.

I cannot see me using Parcelforce anymore due to their high prices.
I use parcels4delivery.com and currently they have a deal with ANC for next day delivery £8.95 plus Vat.Up to 25kg and I believe you can send up to a maximum dimension of 70cm x 70cm x 100cm0
