Amtico Spacia or Essentials in New Wimpey home

Dear Fellow MSE-ers

I am after some advice and opinions please.

We are buying anew home built by Wimpy (I know that in itselsf comes with risks LOL) anyways we wanted Amtico style flooring downstairs apart from the kitchen. I think its about 55 sqaured meters.

Has anyone used the new Spacia product over the Amtico essentials?

Wumps have quoted £3,400 to install and fit the Spacia which I feel is very expensive.

Can someone reconemned an insaller in Kent or another person to try to supply and fit?

disney - we are having our kitchen extension done in Amtico Spacia. The tiles, stripping and adhesvie are about £1100 by buying online. The quote we have for fitting is 3 days work about £750. HTH We are in Surrey BTW. Oh and ours is about 50 m2.

Disney, prices for Amtico Spacia starts from £30 sqm. For a Kent installer try Tunbridge Wells Flooring Company alternatively call Amtico on 08703 504090. I hope this helps and best of luck.

I got my spacia for £18 a sqm from simply amtico though they don't have spacia on their site atm but might be worth a call, fitters in my area charge 150-200 per day.
