Sealed Pot Challenge 2 "The Return"

Hi all its been a while since l was on due to lots of reasons anyway l carried on with the sealed pot and due to needing lots of change l opened it this weekend. Anyway l had to take it all to the bank all £1129 !!!!! yes l couldn't believe it. Little and often is how l managed it. l will keep the pot up till Christmas and give you a final total but l couldn't keep this much money in the house.

A lovely £3.79 left over from shopping for me today....you guessed it, into the pot it went....and ...just as we were about to get in the car...I find a TENNER in the corner of Morrison's car park along with leaves!!!:eek: No one around or anywhere near...so into the pot with that too!!!! :j

Hi smem, good to see you back again....though you've certainly not been idle whilst you've been away! :eek:Very wise indeed in taking the £1129 top the bank!!!! :TWell done indeed...and that's so far!!! I agree with you that you couldn't keep that much money in the house, a few others also bank theirs every so often, much wiser than risking it.

Hi Jackie, by my reckoning it's 51 days until the 1st December (spare me a day either way) which is when we count up all our pots, then let sparky know our totals so he can do a 'mass total' from us all. You're right in thinking that on the 2nd December I'll start a new thread and away we'll go all over again, that way we won't miss a day's saving!

Well done Lost2! That's a very good sum to come home with, a very good home for it too!

£1.70 in for me today! im feeling inspired! 50 days! omg nearly xmas yay i have the money to pay the final balance on our little holiday this week so really want my penny pot to make a difference to what we can do while we are there!
im already thinking about next years aim! targets are definatly the way forward!

£30 of petrol in his diesel car

reason : my car was the last one he filled up
can anyone explain that one please

Don't think Stunty will allow you to kill him, but you can make his life hell!!!!

I have done this before now and a nice man (there are some!!) took a pipe off and drained it for me only cost me some lagers!! Don't you know someone who can do it for you,If I remember rightly I had only driven of the forecourt. Hope you get it sorted x LC2

was easier for garage to collect
