You just tip it in my friend, and you get a receipt for the different coins, the money is credited to your account by close of business that day

The one's in supermarkets you do, they charge you 8%. if you have an HSBC account, there is no charge, and the money goes straight into your account hun

Member 334 signing in....with £70.84 - not at all a bad effort (had to steal £30 earlier in the year for bills!!!) - and in the true MSE style, I have bagged the coins, and those that didn't fit neatly into bags have gone back into the pot for next year - so sign me up again!!!
