My laptop was getting a service

What do you mean by that?

Was someone else using or had access to your computer?

If so when your computer is switched on does it automatically sign in to live messenger?

If it does then that is the answer.

  • It was getting all the dirt taken out of it! My computer doesn't sign in automatically, however the passwords are stored in windows live mail, however the program wasn't opened as none of the e-mails were downloaded, as would be the case if it was opened. I only downloaded all the e-mails after I got my laptop back.
