I think (if I'm correct) that you will need to have put them on the internet so that others can see the pics. You can see them as you have access to your pics on your hard drive.
I'm happy to be corrected though!DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0 -

You will see the pictures because the link to them is on your hard drive. When you put them on the net, you break the link because everyone viewing them will not have access to your hard drive (I hope!!). Hence, you need to load the pictures up to a website somewhere (one of the free services quoted) and then use the URL (or website address for where the picture is located on the web) as your link to the picture.
If you build your webpage in something like MS Frontpage, when you insert the picture, you can put the URL address in (also possible in eBay when you place the ad). Hence, you will see the picture (if you've got the address right) because your machine will link to it across the web. In the same manner, anyone viewing the page on eBay will see the picture because the web page they are viewing will link to the pictures on the web. This method ensures that the pictures are viewable 24/7 to everyone.
Hope this clarifies it a little.0 -
