You can get white dinner sets very cheaply from Matalan, Ikea etc so it's probably cheaper to buy an entire new dinner set. And leave it in a cupboard.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

I'd be inclined to ask the letting agent or landlord what they want you to do about the broken crockery. Not sure what 'used' means in the context of the pots and pans - if the non-stick is scratched then you may need to replace, if the stainless steel is grubby then buy a proper cleaning product. Paintwork often cleans up very well with sugar soap, carpets with elbow grease and Stardrops allegedly.
