There's a huge thread on here somewhere. On it I found Maple Manor meet and greet. It was the very cheapest but with a good reputation. I'm using them later on today for 8 days parking which will cost 42.50 including an unsociable hours charge of 2.50.
tAKE A LOOK:

You could also try booking the "summer advance special" available through holiday extras. I paid £33 for 9 days. This is on site at Gatwick airport with shuttles every 10 minutes or so. I have used car parks at lots of airports and I have to say this one was one of the best, easiest and cheapest!0

I have considered booking the " Summer Special" at Gatwick but it says that it only serves the South Terminal. I am flying out of the North Terminal. Does anyone know how far it is from the North Terminal and whether I could use it ?

There is a free shuttle train that connects the North and South terminals, so if the parking is cheaper I would go for it. It takes a good 5 mins to walk from the car park bus drop off point to the S terminal, then maybe a 5 min wait for the train and a 5 min ride.
The train track is elevated, like a monorail, so you get a good view of the Airport, planes and stuff and you can take your baggage trolley on so no worries about lugging bags on and off.0 -
Thanks pompeyrich, a very useful reply. Are all of the services, train etc available 24 hrs a day. I will be arriving at about 0430 hrs
