between 2004 and 2006 my account was severely in overdraft, i was trying to pay it off but as i was on benefits i was finding it hard
when the account hit the limit i was getting charged weekly for going over the agreed overdraft limit and the money being paid in was immediatley being taken out and i had nothing to live on.
so i went for a credit card to live off, which was a huge mistake as i left my bank account to just keep paying off the charges from the bank
by the time i came into a position i could pay off the bank account in full i was left with a ccj, credit card took off me and had to borrow money from my family to pay off the ccj.
now im stuck back on benefits and have found this about getting bank charges paid back.
what i am wondering is that because of the bank charges forcing me to get a credit card and then leaving me with a ccj after i had paid everything off would i be classed as being in hardship?

No is the answer because reclaiming under financial hardship is about current and not historic financial difficulties. However that should not stop you putting in a claim for bank charges and even the credit card charges as well(that latter not being part of the FSA Waiver on Bank charges).jaysquirrel wrote: »between 2004 and 2006 my account was severely in overdraft, i was trying to pay it off but as i was on benefits i was finding it hard
