just after some help with what i can buy people if anyone can help?

red is what i have bought
blue is ideas needed

my kids no budget as such jsut buy what we think theyd like
dh 200 - a one off this year as we have not really spent a lot on each other in the last few years. so we are making up for lost time lol. next year this will probaly half. got most of the kids, and dh is writing a list :rotfl:

my mum - £40 need ideas typical woman! likes most things girly. but bearing in mind her bday is november and i have got her 3 hat boxes containing dressing gown, slippers, pjs, no7 make up set and lush set. she had a bad accident quadbiking in eygpt  earlier this year so her weekly nights out have been knocked on the head, so wouldnt like to get her anything associated with going out.

stepdad £20 need ideas ex sargent major, loves most things army related. he does make/paint models(army 1s!) but i tend to get him a new one every year and so does everyone else! hes also a keen cyclist.
hoping to do him a 'homemade' jokes/gags hamper at a miminal cost, but will budget seperatly for this

mum and stepdads joint hamper £20 £2 spent on a mr and mrs book, doing a night in hamper what else could go in there?

my dad £30 ex professional boxer and now coaches young boys, loves everything related and always on a diet 'my six packs nearly back' he has constantly reminded us for the past ooh 20years!! so nothing food/drink related. he is quite sentimental tho

little brother, nieces and 2 nephews £15 each £15 spent on youngest nephew. the other 3 are having movie hampers and have had £1 each spent so far:o on basket and rainbow drops!

nanna £15 £2 spent on a boxed 'nanna' cup might add choc and marshmellows with this as she drinks a cup everynight. wants a cardigan for her present

nanna £15 royal jelly present recycled from last year to go with whatever i get her. but thinking maybe doing her one of them tea for one thingymebobs (cant remeber the name) and maybe??

best friends dd £20 has asked santa (ie me!!) for puppy in my pocket fashion show

other friends kids x3 £10 eldest has got a singing hairbrush, microphone and watch all hannah montana. youngest at 8months has a fisherprice lights and sounds book reduced to £3.50 :T not sure on her ds who is 2

dads gf £5 - just a box of chocs

mil and fil dh gives me money to buy their presents, usually £40-50 each need ideas
neither drink. mil likes reading, jigsaws her nintendo ds
fil likes fishing and tools!

and while we're here it is our 1st wedding anniversary on 6th dec so looking for something personal for dh, but he doesnt really get all teh personal/sentimental things so needs to be special! im going to say budget of £50 but would prefer to get this lower if possible

thanks to anybody who takes teh time to read this and especially if you offer suggestions

Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

For your mum I was going to suggest a girly movie night box - maybe some old girly movies like Steel Magnolias, Pretty Woman, Dirty Dancing etc? You could add chocolates/ nice biscuits a bottle of rose wine or some nice coffee if she doesn't drink?

For your step dad -maybe a subscription to a cycling magazine?

For the night in hamper- I'd add two wine glasses, chocolates or homemade truffles, maybe a movie or two or even a board game for adults?

For your dad - maybe something like a homemade family photo album with photos of his grandchildren or photos of his past boxing days with clippings etc?

For the nanna's - is it two seperate ones?
    - a hot chocolate selection pack with little miniature sachets- asda do the options and highlight ones for 4 for £1 i think and you could find a mug with the word chocolate or picture of chocolate on it fairly cheap and maybe one of those little whisks and graters?

    - a tea selection to go with the tea for one? same idea as above some of the twinnings selections are individually wrapped and come in really nice flavours

Father in law- Maybe a fishing survival kit? Book, scarf and gloves incase it's cold, flask, lunch box - could fill with gummy worms or similar?

Mother in law- A new DS game or book? - sorry that's obvious... maybe get a jigsaw made with a picture of your kids on it - I'm sure I've saw this online before - so essentially she is putting together a picture of her grandchildren and she can frame it after?

Not sure about ideas for the nieces/nephews etc except maybe door hangers, homemade selection boxes etc sorry,

    hope that helps

should have said fil loves fishing and has lots of kit but due to health problems, very rarely goes!!

i dont really want to get my mum any dvds as im hoping to put on in her and stepdads hamper.
why didnt i think of a cycling mag subscription???? could look into a fishing one for fil too as i know he reads the mags.
    yes its 2 nannas
we got mil a jigsaw of the kids last year! lol!

im loving the past boxing clippings for my dad i could put them all in a big poster sized frame and give it to him. any ideas where i would find all of this? i know he has a load of clippings, pics etc but he is a very private person so i wouldnt be able to pinch them when he isnt looking!

hi, could you not ask your dads g.friend to help out trying to get the clippings and pictures? or maybe from where he teaches would they have any?
  • just searched for my fathers name on google and found details of his fights ie who he fought, win lose draw points earned etc. but nothing that i would be able to print out
does anyone know how long loacl newspapers would keep their articles for?
  • he doesnt live with his girlfriend, he still lives with my nanna haha. but she wont go in his room and i have no idea where he keeps his box. it was my grandads as he kept clipping/newspaper articles of every fight my dad and uncles were in.

the club he teaches at has only been open a couple of years and teh club he played for has been out of buisness for a few years now
