This is sooo true. i am just so glad I found this site and have now become a little bit more savvy. Who would think the same product could differ from phone to branch to web etc. i have already posted this but OH got a direct mailing offering him the Lloyds card (with the BT fee) and they are now charging interest on the BT fee. Definitely a card to avoid.0

Aye, remember last year's hunt for the 18 mth Capital One card leaflets (there were concurrent offers for 9, 12 mths etc)?
Thanks to this site and our collective knowledge, we continue to get the better of the situation and exploit these offers to our advantage.

you say you can get zero transfer fees online with a Barclays account - I don't think you can; after you log in the link to apply for a barclaycard goes straight to the barclaycard website with the 2 per cent transfer fee so WATCH OUT!
