Another Scottish Power Question- Can we change our product online?
Evening All...
Well I've just read several posts about Scottish Power and have to say that I have confused the whole capped tariff coming to an end thing!
As Monday is a bank holiday does that mean that we won't be able to change suppliers in time and will be automatically entered into the new capped rates?
I thought we had until the 30th September to let them know that we didn't want to sign up to the new capped rates but after that then we would default to the new capped tariff rates? But I've just read someone else's post which says that we only have until the 1st September to come out of the new capped tariff! Which is true? I've held off this long so I didn't incur any penalty charges

Ooops, meant to say
that I am on my actual SP account at the mo and I can change my product apparently... Has anyone done this? Or will I have to wait until the 31st when I technically won't be on the capped tariff with SP anymore

I think you are confused. All they need to know is whether you want to stay on the capped tariff or not.If you decide to say you don't want to continue on a capped tariff then tell them before 1st Sept and then you can change to anyone else after that date.0

You have until the end of September to tell them you dont want to move to the Capped Rate September 2010 offer.0
