looking for some advice

a few months ago we were in focus when my son cut his head open on the gate handle/lock (big arch shaped thing) we took him to the service desk as he was bleeding quite badly and the assistant took our details and made note of the incident and apoligised and even brought him a chocolate bar from here own pocket the other staff were really arrogant and unwilling to help.

anyway i wrote to the store as gates like this should have some kind of protection on the edge of the lock/handle or shopuld have been opened fully and secured to the fence, all i wanted was them to reply and apoligse and have them do something to stop this happening again but they never replied so i left it 28 days and wrote another its been nearly 12 weeks now and they havent replied, is there anything else i can do to force them to sort the gate out as i would hate for it to happen to another young child, seriosly if my son was a cm or 2 taller it would have been his eye.

It makes me angry that something wasnt done to prevent accidents in the first place, my poor son is now left with a 1cm scar across his forehead

heres what he cut his head on

go to your local papers? they love stories like this where stores dont apologise, be sure to comment the nice assistant in it too, might just make their day!

write to them and alert them to the story in the paper if you get it, plead them to do something again.

    thats about it tbh.

dont ;ower yourself to threats, just contact the papers, if they run the story, send a letter pointing it out and maybe enclose a copy.
