Hi guys,
Just after some advice,
Today whilst walking home from work my bag broke!
Its a clip frame style with a gold coloured metal clasp at the top
this has either snapped or detatched itself, either way it no longer shuts
I bought it at the end of may from river island
and it is now completely unuseable!
I know I've had it a little while,
but it cost me £39.99
which is a days wages for me and I'm not best impressed
Luckily I'm pretty organised, and I managed to find the reciept and my bank statement
Id be happy to get a replacement from them, but i guess it will be out of stock now
so, do you think they will give me a refund??
any advice / input appreciated!

you say you bought it in may, is that may this year if so then i dont think you'll have a problem, you have the receipt so i dont see why not,
as to the question of "do you think they will give me a refund?" i cnat answer as i dont have a crystal ball, you wont know the answer if you dont go to the store and ask politely0 -
I would be greatful to get some more opinions,
as i dont live near River Island so I would have to make a special trip!0 -
why don't you give the store a call and explain your circumstances and ask them what their policy is. Presuming the bag is in good condition (apart from the broken clasp) I can't see there being a problem. You could call CAB for advice.:rotfl: l love this site!! :rotfl:0

thanks for the advice,
I think I will call the store tomorrow, so I dont have a wasted journey!
It is in perfect condition apart from the clasp!0 -
The website doesn't have any policy on there, ring them and have an ask, I'd be fuming if I'd spent £40 on a bag and 3 months later it had broken! good luck eh xxI run an event management company, I put on events, I go to events, if I don't know anything about events - its not worth knowing!:j:j:jNegotiate, Negotiate, and Negotiate again.:j:j:j0
