Capital One - PPI - Short Application Form

I stupidly signed up for a Capital One card in June 2001. I ticked the box that says "Please enrol me in Capial One's Payment Protection Scheme". They say I would have been sent T&C's after my application was accepted but I don't think they did because, had they have done so, I would have realised that as I was being treated for cancer, I would be stuffed if I needed to make a claim. The form says "see leaflet enclosed" but, again, i don't remember seeing one. Admittedly, the onus would have been on me to have asked for one. I have asked for a refund of PPI and they have said "no". Has anyone else got experience of this? The application form didn't ask any medical questions, length of time with employer etc.

Sorry you are having these problems with Cap One and your previous health probs.
If they have not sent you their final response then you need to write back and reiterate your complaint and ask them for their final response in the matter. If however their reply is their final response then you now have the option of taking this the FOS if you want to.
