Scottish Power Discounted Energy Online deal ends 31st August 2009

...I have the above fixed deal which ends 31/8/09 however I foolishly agreed to go onto their dsc engergy fixed term which ends 30 September 2010. (which has a £50 transfer penalty). If I transfer to an EDF online tariff would I be charged the £50 as my present fixed term does not end till 31 August 2009 ie bank holiday monday. (tried to ring them today but was too late & monday they will be closed)!!! (nb article in todays Guardian money re this matter).....thanks ed
