My O H takes in the sunlight and where it is and at what part of the day, she takes a compass as well. May be part of the reason we are struggling to find the right place.
You should be grateful she takes the time to take it seriously .... most people don't!

Its clear what is going to happen when you back to basic economics and risk analysis. Let the gulible have their day and brag about rissing prices. It was the same type of people who ridiculed me about saying there would be a crash.

The situation hasn't changed despite how estate agents spin it, prices will continue to crash.

A friend is putting their house up for sale saying that they want to move up the ladder and just now is the best time. Their reasoning is low interest rates and the step up is not so high at the moment due to what has happened.

Down on the ground Construction is fairly hellish with not much happening. Subcontractors that have worked with us in the past still keep phoning looking for work and say it is very dismal out there. I definitely do not think this blip will last.

As for house prices going up we had our own house surveyed and the prices are back to 4 years ago. Our house price has gone down 20% possibly even more!

Oh & I bought the local gazette rag in Blackpool today. Front page headline in big letters : HOUSE PRICES UP

The next headline was "BUT YOU HAVE TO LIVE IN THE DUMP CALLED BLACKPOOOL" I WOULD PREFER NOT TO..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
