API required for portugal

Just had an email from squeezy jet saying they now requir advanced passenger information for our trip, stanstead to faro, thought this only applied to spain? or is this a scam email.

    Just returned from portugal with ryanair(24/8), we didn't need to.

    We had to provide it for a trip to Italy with Easyjet a couple of months ago

    I wasnt aware that Portugal was on the list ,but if they are asking for it then you must do it
    if your not sure do not click on the link in the email but go direct to their web site and enter details from there

    Thanks guys, I was thinking the same as pbs. The next thing will be them deciding how many holidays you can take.

    The next move will be depositing your passport for 'safekeeping' when you're not using it to go abroad, I imagine.
