API required for portugal

Just had an email from squeezy jet saying they now requir advanced passenger information for our trip, stanstead to faro, thought this only applied to spain? or is this a scam email.

Just returned from portugal with ryanair(24/8), we didn't need to.0

We had to provide it for a trip to Italy with Easyjet a couple of months ago0

The next move will be depositing your passport for 'safekeeping' when you're not using it to go abroad, I imagine.
