Bills will fall when Fall comes??

Just belatedly read an article in Daily Express for Thursday August 2009 (page 16), re overcharging of energy bills and the fact that wholesale energy has fallen by around 10 percent for gas and around 3.5 percent for electriclty.
The response from Garry Felgate, chief Executive of the Energy Retail Cartel (sorry mean Association) was :-
"Much of the energy we are all using now was bought last year when prices last year when prices were at their highest, and there is alway a time lag between when prices change on the wholesale market and when these feed through to domestic bills"

So taking the 'time-lag' which was mentioned into account, it should mean that household prices will come down nicely for when the higher usage starts in the autumn/winter.

Sorry I have to stop know, I have just seen some pigs flying past my window!!!!!

No, they will just say they bought at the absolute highest price this year also, lol. They are nothing if not consistent. They do tend to have a knack of forward-buying at the very highest prices. It's a gift, I suppose.
