Netbooks

Is there a netbook out there in to which you can plug a keyboard/mouse and display? It would be used mainly for web browsing and I want to try to extend the longevity of the keyboard/pad. Great battery length is not essential. Nor is a huge amount of hard drive space. Windows based would be preferable with in built wifi. I'm just trawling through TrustedReviews at the moment, but opinions from people using a similar set up to the one I've illustrated would be useful.
...and then the window licker said to me...

All netbooks have at least one video output and several USB ports, so the answer to your question is essentially "all of them."

Have you considered getting a nettop instead?
  • Tanglefoot,
thanks for the suggestion, I had not heard of these. But I do need a netbook to take when travelling.

    Leopard,
again thanks for the options. I have inherited a keyboard/mouse/monitor and computer table so wanted to make use of them.

My Samsung NC10 netbook has 3 USB ports (for keyboard/mouse) and a VGA out port for a monitor.

I wouldn't worry about wear and tear on the keyboard/pad, these things are made to be used :)
